Commercial Litigation
We advise and represent clients in litigated claims, acting for plaintiffs and defendants on a wide range of commercial matters involving breach of contract, negligence and breaches of the Australian Consumer Law. We are experienced in drafting court documents and affidavits, providing advice on liability, quantum and strategies, obtaining and assessing evidence and appearing at court hearings, briefing counsel where appropriate.
Dispute Resolution
We represent clients in a variety of disputes. We spend time with the client to gain a good understanding of the issues involved and grasp the issues quickly. We also work through the client’s desired outcomes and priorities and develop tailored resolution strategies to implement. We assist in settlement negotiations with the other side or opposing solicitor, and represent clients at alternate dispute resolution processes such as mediation. Once a resolution is achieved we assist in drafting a deed of settlement to finalise the matter.
