Liabilities
We assist in the defence of public liability and professional indemnity claims against individuals and businesses. There are occasions where individuals and businesses are uninsured for these claims and require representation to defend, or minimise and resolve a claim against them.
We assist throughout the duration of pre litigated and litigated claims, including considering the claim and drafting responses or a defence and other required documents, considering and obtaining evidence, and providing advice on liability, quantum and resolution strategies. We represent clients at alternative resolution processes such as mediations, and at court hearings, briefing counsel where required.
